We are lookingfor Sr AI Engineers with strongengineeringfull stack expertise to build thebest fit solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) andGenerative AI solutions.The work you do willimpact millions of customers members and employers that relyonCigna every day. Extreme focus on speed tomarket and getting Products andServices inthe hands of customer and passion to transform healthcare is keytothe success of this role Responsibilities: Build scalable softwaresolutions using LLM s and other MLmodelsto solvechallenges in healthcare Build enterprise grade AIsolutions with focus onprivacysecurityfairness. Work with Product Development asa GenerativeArtificialIntelligence(AI) subject matter expert and architect and developscalableresilientethical AI solutions Strong engineering skills todesign the output from the AIwithnodes andnested nodes in JSON or array HTML formats as requiredThis is criticalso that the AI output can beconsumed as is and displayed on the dashboardforaccelerated development cycles. Build extensible APIIntegrations low code UI/UX solutionswithextremely shortcycle times to extract information from sourcesintegratewith GPT4receive insights and makethemavailable in intuitive high performingdashboards Build solutions that align withresponsible AI practices. Envision the solution outcomesto solve for the businessproblemwithactionable insights and designviable solutions to meet the outcomes. Understand how AI isinterpreting the data set and usethatunderstandingto build prompts that lead to expected outcomesArchitect and develop softwareor infrastructure forscalabledistributedsystems and with machine learning technologies. Workwith frameworks (Tensorflow PyTorch) andopensource platforms like Hugging Face todeliver the best solutions Optimize existing generative AI models forimproved performancescalability andefficiency. Develop andmaintain AI pipelines including data preprocessingfeatureextraction model training andevaluation. Strong technicalskillsin machine learning and AI especiallynatural language processing generativemodelslike GPT3 DALLE etc. Understanding how these models work iscrucial. Soliddeliveryexperience of at least one largescale solution leveraging Gen AI. Experiencewithlargescale cloud infrastructure andservices like AWS GCP Azure. Knowing howtobuild and deploy AI solutions leveraging cloud services. Softwareengineeringskills Ability to build systemsand infrastructure to deploy AI modelsintoproduction applications and ensureeffective integration. Knowledge ofAIResponsibility principles like safetytransparency fairness andaccountability.Assessing and mitigating risks from generative AI. Architecturaldesignability Design effective pipelinesprocesses validation mechanisms forbuildingenterprisegrade generative AI solutions. Understanding of variousapplications of generative AIlikesummarizationtranslation conversational systems retrievalaugmentedgenerationDevelop clear and concisedocumentation includingtechnicalspecificationsuser guides and presentations to communicate complexAIconcepts to bothtechnical and nontechnical stakeholders.Contribute to the establishmentof best practices and standardsforgenerative AIdevelopment within the organization.RequiredSkills:Strongunderstandingand exposure in natural language generation or Gen AI liketransformers LLM s text embedding sStrongknowledge ofdata structures algorithms and software engineeringprinciples. Familiaritywithcloudbased platforms and services such as AWS GCP orAzure. Excellentproblemsolvingskills with the ability to think critically and creativelytodevelop innovative AIsolutions. Strongcommunicationskills with theability to effectively conveycomplex technical concepts to a diverse audience. Possessaproactive mindset with the ability to workindependently and collaborativelyin afastpaced dynamic environmentproficientinpython and commonly used data science librarieslike pandas scikit learn tensorflow keras PyTorch etc. (some ofthese libraries)Experienceworkingwith different LLMs and Proficient in Prompt Engineering. experiencebuildingmachine learning infrastructure data pipelines to train ML models experiencewithcommon machine learning techniques like preprocessing datatrainingevaluation ofmodels experiencewithpublic cloud technologies and their ML services(AWS preferred) Required Experience& Education: DegreeinComputer ScienceArtificial Intelligence or a related field6 years of Fullstack engineering expertise with languages like Python andProficiency in designing architecture buildingAPIIntegrations configuring anddeployingcloud services setting upauthentication monitoring and logging3 years of experience working ina complex matrixedorganizationinvolvingcrossfunctional or crossbusiness projects 2 yearsof experience in implementing enterprise systems inproductionsetting for AI computer visionnatural language processing. Exposuretoselfsupervised learning transfer learningand reinforcement learning isaplus.DesiredExperience: Experiencewithinformation storage/retrieval usingvector databases. Experiencewithdesigning scalable software systems forclassification textextraction/summary dataconnectors for different formats(pdf csv doc etc) Experience withmachinelearning libraries and frameworkssuch as PyTorch or TensorFlow Hugging Face Lang chain Llama Index.
