• Teachingdance techniques including ballet modern jazz and otherstyles
• Choreographing and directing danceperformances
• Providing constructive feedback tostudents to enhance their skills
• Organizing andleading dance rehearsals andclasses.

Collaborating with otherfaculty and staff for interdisciplinaryprojects

• Managing administrativetasks related to dance programs andevents
• Engaging in professional development andstaying current with dance trends
• Participatingin student evaluations and progressassessments

Communicating withparents and guardians regarding studentsprogress

• Contributing to thepromotion and visibility of the danceprogram

Requiredqualifications

• Bachelors degree inDance Performing Arts or relatedfield
• Professional dance experience orcertification in specific dance styles
• Provenability to choreograph and stage danceperformances
• Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills
• Strong musicality andrhythm interpretation abilities
• Knowledge ofdance history theory andterminology
• Familiarity with dancerelatedtechnology and software
• Understanding ofanatomy and kinesiology as it relates todance
• Ability to create a supportive andinclusive learningenvironment.
