Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer ((IaaS)Azure and AWS Specialist)

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Design:

Design and architect scalable highperformanceIaaS solutions based on business requirements and bestpractices.

Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to understand infrastructure needs andprovide technical expertise.

Infrastructure Provisioning andAutomation:

ImplementInfrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools such asTerraform AWS CloudFormation or Azure ResourceManager.

Automate theprovisioning and configuration of infrastructure components forefficiency and consistency.

Virtualization and ComputeManagement:

Deploy andmanage virtual machines (VMs) and compute resources on cloudplatforms (AWS and Azure).

Optimize resource allocation monitor performance and ensureefficient utilization of compute resources.

Networking and Security:

Configure and manage cloud networking componentsincluding Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) subnets and securitygroups.

Implement securitybest practices to safeguard IaaS environments.

Storage Solutions:

Design and implement storage solutions includingblock storage object storage and file storage.

Optimize storage configurations for performancedurability and costeffectiveness.

Identity and Access Management(IAM):

Implement IAMpolicies and roles to manage access control for cloudresources.

Ensure properauthentication and authorization mechanisms are inplace.

Monitoring andTroubleshooting:

Implementmonitoring solutions for IaaS components to proactively identifyand address issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructurerelated incidents incollaboration with support teams.

8. Collaboration andDocumentation:

Collaboratewith development teams system administrators and otherstakeholders.

Create andmaintain comprehensive documentation for IaaS architecturesconfigurations and procedures.

9. Cost Management:

Monitor and optimize IaaS costs providingrecommendations for costeffective resourceprovisioning.

Implementtagging strategies and budget controls to manageexpenses.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Cloud InfrastructureEngineer with a focus on IaaS.

Strong expertise in AWS andAzure

Certifications such asAWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: AzureSolutions Architect are advantageous.

Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g.Python PowerShell).

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CDpipelines.

Excellentproblemsolving communication and collaborationskills
