Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Software QA Engineer to join our team at The Vills Group. As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and bug reporting. You will collaborate with the development team to identify and fix issues, as well as implement test strategies and automate testing processes. This is a senior-level position, requiring 7 to 10 years of experience in software quality assurance. The role is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and can be done remotely on a full-time basis.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium
  • Working knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans for software applications
  • Identify and report bugs and issues with detailed steps to reproduce
  • Collaborate with development team to resolve issues and implement fixes
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium
  • Perform regression testing to ensure software stability
  • Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize software performance
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality aspects
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging testing technologies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process
