TheRole:

  • To providetechnical / scientific support to both internal and externalclients. To assist in the delivering and monitoring of consistentdeliverables for Global Scientific Affairs.
  • Maintain and configure testing and assay summary information in theTest Master application of the ICOLIMS system.
  • Configure test codes within the STARLIMSsystem.
  • Assist all other ICL departments withGlobal Scientific Affairs related issues andquestions.
  • Utilize the internet journalsinternal validation documentation etc. to update specimenrequirements stability and transport information withindepartmental databases.
  • Follow SOPs relevantto Global Scientific Affairs issues.
  • Attendmeetings with both internal and external clients on behalf ofGlobal Scientific Affairs.
  • Providenotifications and technical documentation to the Global ValidationDepartment and ultimately Global ClientServices.
  • Maintain CLSI documentslibrary.
  • Performs additional relevantresponsibilities as requested by management.
  • Recognize exemplify and adhere to ICONs values which centers aroundour commitment to People Clients andPerformance.
  • As a member of staff the employeeis expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of processimprovement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding valueto our business and meeting client needs.

What you will need:

  • BS Degree in Medical Technologypreferred.
  • Experience in Analytical Platformssuch as Siemens Roche Abbott Beckman ispreferred.
  • More than 5 years relevantexperience
  • Knowledge of clinical laboratoryconcepts and terminology
  • Knowledge ofMicrosoft Word and Excel
