The Role

Responsibilities: 

  • Test automation of SAAS Product for both Mobile & Web channels. 
  • Should able to write Test scripts in JavaScipt for PlayWright 
  • Collaboration with analysts in gathering requirements and test case design to ensure complete coverage for new feature development and existing product features understanding. 
  • Partnering with software developers to facilitate a clear understanding of acceptance criteria and QA expectations 
  • Creating and designing testcases using TestRail or similar that will be used by the Automation team to build automation scripts 
  • Creation of automation test suites , diagnose issues, report defects. 
  • Performing root cause analysis for software and data defects to include aiding to implement process changes to ensure a continuous improvement. 
  • Performing test automation & if necessary manual testing of work that’s not deemed possible or important to automate 
  • Automating system regression execution and regression data collection 
  • Closely work with worldwide teams and contribute with best practices.


Ideal Profile

Requirements: 

  • 7 plus years of hands-on experience creating and maintaining test automation suites. 
  • Automation: 3 yrs in Appium test development 
  • At least one year PlayWright with JavaScript realtime Handson experience 
  • Experience with industry-leading test automation tools such as Appium, PlayWright
  • Should be proficient in JavaScript & mobile application automation using Appium. 
  • Experience in automation framework development from scratch 
  • Experience in API test automation - Rest Assured/ Postman 
  • Exposure to Git or any other version control systems and defect tracking tool like JIRA. 
  • Good communication with technical writing capabilities and ability work with global teams. 
  • Experience on testing and automating Web (SaaS and Enterprise) and Mobile apps (Android & iOS) 
  • Should be able to set up and configure test environments, devices, simulators, and emulators for mobile app testing. 
  • Work Location: Hyderabad, India (work from office) & at least first 2 to 3 quarters in US time zone
