JobDescription TheConventional Underwriter reviews conditions and underwritesmortgage loans in accordance with established policies andprocedures and appropriate guidelines; examines all documentationfor accuracy and completeness.Key RequiredSkills:

• Candidatemust have experience inlive underwriting Real TimeAnalysis.
• Excellent at IncomeCalculation and DebttoIncome (DTI) RatioCalculation.
• Expertise in 4Csframework (Credit Capacity Collateral andCapital)
• Familiar in Creditreport Analysis & LOX (Letter ofExplanation).
• Knowledge of CreditBureau Documents to approve the loan Familiar with differentaccount types.

JobRoles and Responsibilities:

• Review andanalyze the mortgage loan application to ensure eligibilityaccuracy completeness and compliance with internal and regulatoryguidelines to minimize risk factors.
• Review all requiredloan data reports and inspections to ensure the collateral isacceptable to investor and the company.
• Knowledge of Lending& Underwriting Guidelines Credit & Income AnalysisCash Flow Analysis Risk Assessment LoantoValue Ratios DebttoIncomeRatios.
• Review Initialapplication Verify loan property borrowers information with otheravailable documents
• Verify borrowersmonthly income and expenses Verify other relevantsections.
• Review all thedocuments related to borrower s Credit Capacity Collateral andCapital.
• Calculate assetrequired for closing and reserve purpose for the transaction (asper guideline)
• Responsible formaking independent decisions regarding acceptance and risk of loansaccording to HUD company and investorguidelines.
• Provides finalapproval underwriting of mortgage loans.
• Completes allrequired paperwork and forms in a timely and accurate manner;prepares required forms.Sign off conditions in a timely manner setby management.
• Work with staff andmanagement to find solutions on escalatedloans.
• May be requested tomake recommendations for improving Internal Audit s policies andpractices.
• Manage loans by usingall functions of Encompass.
• Effectivelycommunicate underwriting decisions with processors andadvisors
• Maintain a high levelof customer service and communication with otherdepartments.
• Other duties asassigned.

Qualification& Experience:

• Recent2 years of experience in LiveUnderwriting
• Minimum 4 years ofexperience in conventional/govt end to endunderwriting.
• Wellversed with all4C s of Underwriting (Asset IncomeCredit and Collateral)
• US Mortgage Process(Only Night Shifts)
• Hybrid
