JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Pricing Asst. Manager to join our team and play a key role in setting and managing pricing strategies for our industrial automation products distributed across [North & East India]. You will be responsible for analysing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs to develop pricing models that optimize profitability and drive sales growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement pricing strategies for the Industrial Automation product portfolio, considering cost, market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitor analysis. Conduct competitor pricing analysis and identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage. Analyse customer data and behaviour to understand customer value perceptions and willingness to pay. Set and manage product prices, discounts, and promotions in line with corporate objectives and market conditions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Rockwell, including key decision-makers in the pricing department. Negotiate favourable pricing agreements with Rockwell that achieve profitability goals for the distribution model while ensuring competitive pricing for customers. Stay informed about the pricing strategies and policies of Rockwell and anticipate changes that may impact the distribution model's pricing. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new pricing models relevant to the industrial automation sector. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Operations) to develop and present compelling arguments for desired pricing agreements with the Rockwell.Develop Rate Contract for Major Customers.
KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Cost reduction from negotiated OEM pricing. Profitability Improvement (Bottom line enhancement) Sales Growth- Increased sales volume/revenue Improved customer satisfaction with pricing Time to close pricing negotiations with parent OEMs. Improvement in pricing data analysis and reporting capabilities. Development and implementation of new pricing tools and processes.Technical Skills
Experience with industrial automation products and the distribution model preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.Pricing Software and Tools
Behavioural Skills
Effective communication & email writing skills Strong understanding of value-based pricing principles and methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong understanding of market research and competitor analysis techniques. Negotiation skillsExperience with industrial automation products and the distribution model preferred.
Language Skills
English HindiCREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications - B.Sc/ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ MBA/M.Tech
Experience 3-4 years of relevant experience in Inside Sales for Automation Solution /Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in B2B pricing, preferably in the industrial automation or distribution industry.
