We are looking for a qualifiedIT Technician that will install andmaintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highestfunctionality. You will also “train” users ofthe systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the ITinfrastructure.
A successful IT Technician musthave a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and avariety of internet applications networks and operating systems.The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilitiesand attention to detail.
The goal is to buildand maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks tooptimize the role of technology on businesssustainability.
- Settingup workstations with computers and necessary peripheraldevices
- Checking computer hardware (HDD mouseskeyboards etc.) to ensure the functionality
- Installing and configuring appropriate software andfunctions according to specifications

Responsibilities- Set up workstations with computers andnecessary peripheral devices (routers printers etc.)
- Check computer hardware (HDD mouses keyboards etc.) toensure the functionality
- Install and configureappropriate software and functions according tospecifications
- Develop and maintain localnetworks in ways that optimize performance
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computersystems
- Provide orientation and guidance tousers on how to operate new software and computerequipment
- Organize and schedule upgrades andmaintenance without deterring others from completing theirwork
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose andresolve problems (repair or replace parts debuggingetc.)
- Maintain records/logs of repairs andfixes and maintenance schedule
- Identifycomputer or network equipment shortages and place orders
- Proven experience as ITTechnician or relevant position
- Excellent diagnostic and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication ability
- Outstanding organizational and timemanagementskills
- Indepth understanding of diversecomputer systems and networks
- Good knowledgeof internet security and data privacy principles
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or relevantfield
- Certification as an IT Technician willbe an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified ITProfessional)
