To involve in EPC design of greenfield and brownfield projects, which involves work such as drainage, roads, paving, earthwork, ponds, gravity and pressure pipe line routine for the greenfield and brownfield project consist of ISBL, OSBL and tankage area. The UG Engineer is responsible to provide technical direction and to guide a group of engineers and designers who function as technical specialist, formulating and developing advanced engineering concepts from UG layout consideration. Work includes conceptual, preliminary, estimating, FEED and final detail engineering of Civil Engineering & UG aspect of work. To supervises other engineers and designers in day to day engineering production tasks. Interfaces with clients, PMC, Project managers, Construction Engineer and other discipline personnel including project controls for EPC and other projects.
Good Skill set for Civil Engineering & UG Software like Inroads, Microdrainage etc. good Idea of 3D modeling software like PDS/PDMS/SP3D/E-3D etc., good knowledge of Smartplant Review, Navisworks, Microsoft Office software, good verbal and written communication is required. Extensive knowledge of relevant current Indian Codes, International codes and specifications required. Experience in design, detail engineering and costing of storm water drains (open channel & pipe flow), paving, roads, gravity and pressure pipe line etc. Supervise & Lead Civil task force team in the production of above items within established project schedule and budget constraints. Capable of reading piping and civil composite GA drawing & isometric drawings. Capable of understanding piping material specifications, piping modelling requirements, piping routing considerations etc. Capable of RCC cast in-situ/ precast design of trenches and Culverts. Capable of preparing Concrete/Piping MTO’s, BOQ’s & review & checking of drawings. Capable of understanding drawing extraction from 3d software’s like drawing manager etc. Must be able to provide a direction in the selection of acceptable technical solutions. Provide technical assistance to other design groups as necessary. Must be able to perform squad checks on drawing received from other disciplines. Requires interaction with own and other discipline to complete design tasks as well as with clients. Occasional travel to client sites for project meetings and information gathering required. Should be capable of leading projects with a team of 5-7 members. Basic technical selection in accordance with contractual project documentation. Setting-up of project and budget preparation for services and materials. Interfaces with civil/structural personnel, project engineers, other disciplines personnel, Vendors, Procurement, Document control, Project Control and field construction team. Project Progress monitoring, issuing reports as required to Project Manager, Discipline Head Controlling Man-hour, tracking of estimated MTO vs actual requirement & Cost -Estimates, Scheduling, attending project meetings/video conferences, Interaction with Client. Attending model reviews for her/his share of work and coordinating resolution of all clashes/comments. Mentoring to the Junior Engineers/Designers. Participating in internal/ external Technical / Design Reviews / Quality, System Audits.Starting Date:
