Requirements

KeyAccountabilities:


NetworkInfrastructureManagement:

Designconfigure and deploy local area networks (LANs) wide area networks(WANs) and wirelessnetworks.

Implementand maintain network hardware including switches routers firewallsaccess points and other networkingdevices.

Monitornetwork performance and ensure optimal utilization of networkresources.

Planand execute network upgrades and expansions to accommodate thecompanys growingneeds.


NetworkSecurity:

Implementand maintain network security measures including firewalls VPNsintrusion detection/prevention systems and accesscontrols.

Conductregular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensurecompliance with security policies andstandards.

Respondto security incidents and take appropriate actions to mitigaterisks and prevent unauthorizedaccess.


NetworkTroubleshooting andSupport:

Troubleshootand resolve networkrelated issues reported by endusers or detectedthrough monitoringtools.

Collaboratewith the IT support team to provide timely resolution tonetworkrelated userproblems.

Performroot cause analysis for complex network problems and implementpermanentsolutions.


NetworkMonitoring andOptimization:

Monitornetwork performance traffic and usage patterns to proactivelyidentify and address potential bottlenecks or performanceissues.

Optimizenetwork configurations to ensure optimal performance andreliability.

ImplementQuality of Service (QoS) mechanisms to prioritize criticalapplications andservices.

DocumentationandReporting:

Maintaincomprehensive network documentation including network diagramsconfigurations and standard operatingprocedures.

Prepareregular reports on network performance security and maintenanceactivities formanagement.



Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ aredesirable.
