Engineer, Chennai
NielsenIQ is seeking a motivated Java Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices architecture. You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable applications on Azure, utilizing technologies such as VMSS and AKS, while also contributing to our CI/CD pipeline
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot. Build responsive user interfaces using Angular. Implement and manage microservices architecture. Deploy applications on Azure using VMSS and AKS. Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Analyze and troubleshoot application performance issues. Document technical specifications and participate in code reviews.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot. Proficiency in Angular as well. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Experience with Azure services, VMSS, and AKS. Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and articulation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills:
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
