OverviewThe SQLDeveloper plays a crucial role in the organization by developingtesting and maintaining databases for the efficient handling ofdata. They are responsible for ensuring the stability performanceand reliability of SQL databases and for optimizing queries toenhance overall system functionality and efficiency. This role isinstrumental in supporting datadriven decisionmaking processes andmaintaining data integrity within theorganization.Keyresponsibilities
  • Design construct andmaintain SQL databases and tables in line with organizationalrequirements and standards.
  • Develop andoptimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate dataefficiently.
  • Implement and maintain datasecurity measures to safeguard sensitive information stored indatabases.
  • Collaborate with software developersto integrate databases with applications and develop backendsupport.
  • Create and manage ETL processes fordata migration transformation andloading.
  • Monitor database performance andimplement necessary optimizations for enhancedefficiency.
  • Troubleshoot databaserelated issuesand provide timely resolution to minimizedowntime.
  • Conduct thorough testing of databasesystems to ensure data integrity and systemstability.
  • Participate in the planning andimplementation of database upgrades andpatches.
  • Document database processes proceduresand configurations for future reference and knowledgesharing.
  • Assist in data modeling and schemadesign based on business requirements and dataanalysis.
  • Provide technical support andguidance to internal teams on databaserelatedmatters.
  • Stay updated with industry bestpractices and emerging technologies in SQLdevelopment.
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of database management processes andpractices.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to understand and address datarelated requirements andchallenges.
Requiredqualifications
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or a related field; Mastersdegree is a plus.
  • Proven work experience as aSQL Developer or a similar role demonstrating a strongunderstanding of database design andmanagement.
  • Proficiency in SQL programmingincluding stored procedures triggers andfunctions.
  • Extensive knowledge of databasemanagement systems particularly Microsoft SQL Server orOracle.
  • Experience with data modeling schemadesign and implementation of datawarehouses.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes andtools for data integration andtransformation.
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills to identify and resolve database performanceand data integrity issues.
  • Excellentcommunication and collaboration abilities to work effectively withcrossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to prioritizetasks manage time efficiently and meet projectdeadlines.
  • Certifications in databaseadministration or SQL development areadvantageous.
  • Understanding of security andcompliance standards in databasemanagement.
