Senior Software Engineer - Consumer Engineering /CVX (Conversational Experience) (Bot Development)

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy innovative AI solutions to various business problems to enhance Organization chatbot capabilities and solutionsAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will be accountable for implementing software solutions as one the most senior engineers on a 4-6 person scrum teamYou will act as an individual contributor while providing influence over your scrum teamYou will interface with Lead SWEs, Managers and Peers to understand priorities and technical strategyUse best practices and experience to design, code, build, and test software solutionsProviding accurate and timely estimates for tasks. Provide support and leadership in critical production support issue resolutionSupport the team for application availability, reliability and stability on a 7 by 24 by basis. Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action planWorks with less structured, more complex issuesCode quality will be one of your core areas of focus - ensuring your team’s user stories are effectively tested, peer reviewed and well documented. Mentor other developers on coding standards, problem solving, and application architectureOn-call in rotation (once in 3 months), including weekendsRegular shift, but few weeks, as per need, may have to work in Later shift (2:30pm to 12am)Exploring new technologies & conducting POC’sComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or engineering with a focus on AI6+ years of full stack development: Any UI/Presentation Layer tech stack (Angular, or React or Java Script or Type Script or any other programming Language)Middle Tier/Service Layer (Java, Sprint Boot, REST API, API implementation, Integration)Any one Relational Databases – Oracle, DB2, SQL, PostgreSQL etc.,Any one non Relational/NoSQL Databases – MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc. Solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detailProven excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilitiesProven self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in AI-driven stacks, and/or a demonstrated interest in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.Experience on Monitoring, Observation using different tools – Splunk, DataDog, Elastic APM, etc.,Knowledge on CI/CDAny public cloud experience
