We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in the Payment Domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects related to cash management, payments systems, and regulatory compliance within the banking industry. With a focus on delivering successful outcomes within stipulated timelines and budgets, the Project Manager will play a key role in driving initiatives that enhance our payment infrastructure and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end projects within the payment domain, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
Payment Systems Implementation:
  • Oversee the implementation of new payment systems and technologies, including upgrades, integrations, and migrations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of project deliverables.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements related to payments, including ISO 20022, SWIFT, SEPA, and local regulatory standards.
  • Ensure that projects comply with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices, conducting risk assessments and mitigation strategies as needed.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and senior management, to gather requirements and define project objectives.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders, facilitating decision-making and problem resolution.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and subject matter experts, to achieve project goals.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on the payment domain within the banking industry.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems and technologies, including RTGS, ACH, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Jira, and MS Project.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and senior executives.
  • PMP® certification or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
