We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance Cloud Control Enhancements – Project Manager.
Principal responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and budget – using appropriate tools and applications ( Clarity, Jira, Teams Planner. Define and manage project scope, ensuring project priorities and deliverables meet stakeholder expectations. Identify and mitigate potential risks, issues and deviations promptly throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure solutions delivered are in line with business requirements and strategy. Work collaboratively and effectively across Finance Change Delivery team and stakeholders to deliver outcomes. Project plan, milestones, resourced and budget managed effectively in system of record/suitable tools. Risks, issues and dependencies identified and managed effectively in system of record/suitable tools and escalated as required. Project delivery as per plan, within budget, risk appetite and scope. Robust documentation produced by the project management team – in line with HSBC Change Framework standards ( requirements, design, testing) Quick and effective resolution of issues and conflicting priorities to ensure that relevant stakeholders are engaged in decision making. Effectively engage a diverse group of internal customers and stakeholders while managing and delivering FCCE priorities and scope. Design and execute communications plan. Work effectively with stakeholders to ensure execution delivery is fully understood, compliant with regulatory requirements and aligned with Finance, Risk and other relevant GB/ GF systems and change strategy. Build strong relationships with reporting teams. Embed control outcomes/deliverables into BAU. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management of a related field (or equivalent experience). Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in a relevant industry. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget and risk appetite and to scope. Strong understanding of project management methodologies ( Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid and HSBC Change Framework). Excellent communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management and negotiation skills - with the ability to build relationships at a range of levels of seniority. Proficient in project management tools ( Clarity, Jira). Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure. Demonstrated experience managing project teams through complex projects. An understanding of Finance reporting data, systems and processes, and control environment. Familiarity with HSBC Finance reporting data, systems and processes preferred .-
