Overview:The SeniorDeveloper Java Microservices plays a critical role in the designdevelopment and implementation of highquality software solutionsusing Java and microservices architecture. This position isessential in driving innovation enhancing system scalability andensuring optimal performance in alignment with the organizationsstrategic objectives.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Designing anddeveloping scalable secure and maintainable Javabasedmicroservices
  • Collaborating withcrossfunctional teams to define design and ship newfeatures
  • Implementing best practices forRESTful API design anddevelopment
  • Participating in code review andproviding constructive feedback to ensure codequality
  • Identifying and resolving performanceand scalability issues in a timelymanner
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CDpipelines for automated testing anddeployment
  • Ensuring adherence to Agilemethodologies and contributing to sprint planning and retrospectivemeetings
  • Integrating thirdparty services andcomponents into the applicationecosystem
  • Participating in troubleshooting anddebugging of production issues
  • Staying updatedwith industry trends and incorporating relevant technologies intothe development process
  • Mentoring juniordevelopers and fostering a culture of continuous learning andimprovement
  • Documenting technicalspecifications architecture and designdecisions
  • Contributing to the evolution andenhancement of development processes andstandards
  • Collaborating with DevOps teams tooptimize application deployment and infrastructureprovisioning
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Software Engineering or relatedfield
  • Minimum of 5 years of handson experiencein Java development with a focus on microservicesarchitecture
  • Proficiency in building anddeploying microservices using Spring Bootframework
  • Expertise in designing andimplementing RESTful APIs and integrating with thirdpartyservices
  • Strong understanding ofcontainerization and orchestration tools such as Docker andKubernetes
  • Experience in working within Agiledevelopment methodologies
  • Solid understandingof software development best practices including testdrivendevelopment and continuous integration
  • Abilityto troubleshoot and optimize performance and scalability issues ina distributed microservices environment
  • Workingknowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD such as JenkinsGit and Ansible
  • Excellent problemsolving skillsand the ability to work independently as well as part of ateam
  • Strong communication skills and theability to effectively convey complex technicalconcepts
  • Proven track record of deliveringhighquality software solutions within tighttimelines
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms andservices such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud is aplus
  • Certifications in relevant technologiessuch as Java Spring or Docker/Kubernetes areadvantageous
  • Passion for exploring newtechnologies and a commitment to continuous professionaldevelopment
