Job Description:

As a Security firmware engineer, you will be responsible for developing and validating firmware for security software modules for embedded systems as per cybersecurity flows. You will interact with SW development, SoC Design and Verification teams to develop and optimize the firmware components.

Skills needed:

Work experience in Embedded System Programming (Complete life-cycle).Product development as per Cybersecurity standards and ASPICEHands on experience with development of embedded HSM, Crypto algos, and AutoSAR integration. Well versed with MCU SW development with Internal flash.Familiarity with static analysis and dynamic analysis.Experience with MISRA-C, Cert-C guidelines, penetration testing and fuzz testingExperience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded systems. Programming experience in Embedded C and Embedded C++.Experience with bare-metal drivers and RTOS based ApplicationsStrong documentation and writing skills.Concept of Continuous Integration using Jenkins and GITProficiency debugging embedded software systems. Familiarity with UARTs, JTAG, and oscilloscopesSome mainstream OS application level development and Python or Perl scripting experience.Requirement Understanding and Writing Test Specification on different ASIL levelFamiliarity with software tools which is used to configure SW, Drivers and application

Minimum Requirements: 

10+ Years industry experience in Security SW on embedded devices.Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science

Primary responsibilities:

Develop Security Firmware as per cybersecurity standards for embedded HSM Modules and development of drivers for both HW security and drivers like SPI and UART.Lead small team which would own Security SW development perform project lead activity - estimation and scoping, planning, communication and mentoring team Integration of security firmware with Bootloaders and enable SDK integration and delivery.Simplify Secure device lifecycle development for customers with GUI tools integrationCan debug device drivers, applications of self-written or customer written softwareAble to look the software deliverables from end user point of view – ease of use, well documented code, design documentsStatic analysis/dynamic analysis of code, unit testing and Integration testing.Analyzes and writes test and procedures for the components developed.Develop test automation software and test scripts, performing SW optimization for memory & performance.
