Position: HVAC Design& Estimation Engineer

RoleOverview: As an HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer at MaxAircon Pune you will play a vital role in providing technicalexpertise and support in designing HVAC systems and estimatingproject costs. Your responsibilities will include conductingdetailed system design preparing project estimates andcollaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure accurateand efficient projectexecution.


Qualificationsand Experience:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Minimum of 3 years ofexperience in HVAC design and estimation preferably in theindustrial sector.
  • Proficiency inHVAC design software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit MEP) and estimationtools.
  • Strong technical knowledge ofHVAC systems equipment and designprinciples.
  • Familiarity withrelevant codes standards and regulations governing HVACsystems.
  • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills to develop efficient HVAC designs andaccurate cost estimates.
  • Effectivecommunication skills to collaborate with clients internal teams andexternal stakeholders.
  • Ability tomanage multiple projects simultaneously prioritize tasks and meetdeadlines.
  • Attention to detail and acommitment to delivering highquality design and estimationsolutions.

Requirements

HVACSystem Design: Develop detailed HVAC system designs includingequipment selection ductwork layout pipe sizing and control systemintegration based on client requirements project specifications andindustry standards.

Estimation andCosting: Prepare accurate and competitive project estimatesconsidering material costs labor equipment and overhead expenses.Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to finalize projectquotations.

Technical Expertise:Provide technical guidance and support to clients internal teamsand contractors regarding HVAC system design equipment selectionenergy efficiency and sustainabilitymeasures.

Project Coordination:Collaborate closely with sales engineering and project managementteams to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughoutthe project lifecycle.

Compliance andStandards: Ensure compliance with relevant codes standardsregulations and industry best practices in HVAC system design andestimation.

Documentation: Create andmaintain detailed project documentation including design drawingsspecifications bill of quantities (BOQ) and costestimates.

Client Interaction: Engagewith clients to understand their HVAC requirements providetechnical recommendations address queries and offer solutions thatalign with their budget and projectgoals.

Value Engineering: Identifyopportunities for value engineering and cost optimization withoutcompromising quality orperformance.

Continuous Learning: Stayupdated with the latest HVAC technologies industry trends andadvancements in design software and estimationtools.

Quality Assurance: Collaboratewith the quality control team to ensure that HVAC system designsmeet quality standards performance requirements and customersatisfaction.



HVAC System Design: Develop detailed HVAC system designs, includingequipment selection, ductwork layout, pipe sizing, and controlsystem integration, based on client requirements, projectspecifications, and industry standards. Estimation and Costing:Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates, consideringmaterial costs, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to finalize projectquotations.
