  • Perform all aspects of theaccounts payable function by matching purchase orders to invoicesand entering the invoices into SAP/TAP according to Nielsen spolicies
  • Ensures daytoday account payablestransactions are timely recorded documented reviewed and supportedin accordance with Nielsen s policies and SOX controls.
  • Identify invoices errors or discrepancies and resolvebefore processing.
  • Verify vendor accounts byreconciling monthly statements.
  • Reportindirect taxes (sales VAT etc) by calculating requirements oninvoices
  • Perform monthend closing activitiesincluding but not limited to expense accruals journal entries andsupporting schedules/ analysis
  • Prepare thereconciliation of payablesrelated general ledger accounts inaccordance with NielsenIQ s policies
  • Assist inpreparing monthly quarterly and annual schedules and internal andexternal reporting packages
  • Preparing Paymentproposal and conducting weekly payment run
  • Properly apply payments in SAP by invoice
  • Research and resolve any outstanding balances on accountsincluding communications with vendors and internalstakeholders
  • Assist in preparing responses toperiodic requests for information from Nielsen Corporate andexternal auditors
  • Maintain files anddocumentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with companypolicy and legal requirements.
  • Assist onspecial project work as directed by manager.
  • Other duties as assigned at either market or regionallevel under guidance from Operational Controllers regional P2Pmanagers or their teams or more broadly from/with the GlobalFinancial Controlling community.
  • Work withAssociate Operational Controller Operational Controller and theirteams on compliance and governance.
  • Work withBusiness Finance (FP&A) and Revenue Controlling as well asinternally with other Finance & Accounting colleagues onprocesses and systems.
  • Link up with internalaudit for internal control or audit purposes.
  • Other transverse functions (facilities Sourcing HR legaletc.
