Qualification: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field.

 

Job Description: 

  • Design Development: Collaborate with engineers, and clients to develop design concepts and specifications for  fabrication projects. 
  • CAD Modelling: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software (i.e. Auto cad, Creo and Solid works) to create detailed 2D and 3D models of products, structures, or components. 
  • Technical Drawings: Produce accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, plans, and blueprints that specify dimensions, materials, and manufacturing processes. 
  • Nesting: Use computer-aided design software for Nesting to create cutting details on CNC machine.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, fabricators, machinists, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs can be feasibly fabricated and meet technical requirements. 
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks and inspections to verify that fabricated products meet design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design issues, technical challenges, and manufacturing constraints throughout the fabrication process. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo. 
  • Strong technical skills with a thorough understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes. 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. 
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines. 
  • Prior experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or mechanical design is preferred
