Responsibilities and Duties

Alignment of Tableau architecture with broader data warehouse, ETL, data quality, and data platform architectures to deliver the target enterprise data and analytics solution. All aspects of Tableau development through the entire project life cycle Mentoring of other team members, some of whom have not worked with BI tools before Work closely with business users through the SDLC Participate in story writing and grooming Work with business users, data modeler, and other team members to define, manage, publish data definitions

Preferred Qualifications

5+ Years experience a BI development role 3+ Years experience with Tableau development 5+ Years experience with relational database concepts and SQL In depth understanding of Kimball (star schema) methodologies Excellent communication skills. Experience working with both technical and business users. Ability to identify opportunities for improving revenue and operational efficiency through analytics. Ability to recommend visualization features/designs most appropriate to data and analysis needs of business users Ability to work with business users to deliver dashboards, as well as to train and evangelize the use of visualization within the client business areas
