Responsibilities

Design feasibility of Class A surface.  Create Concept 3D considering manufacturing requirements and readiness for mass production. Internal Design & Engineering Reviews.  Create Manufacturing Drawings. 

Requirements

5-8 Years In automotive plastics design. Proficiency in CATIA V5/3DExperience is a must.  Proficient in Solid, Surface Modelling and Drafting.  Strong knowledge and experience in Automotive plastics parts design.  Engineering design and development experience in automotive plastic components of Interior and Exterior systems like IP, Console, FR & RR Bumper.  Experience with Mechanisms and Kinematics. Experience of OEM/Tier1 is preferred.  Knowledge of milestones in automotive product development.  Good understanding of manufacturing processes, DFMEA, GD&T & tolerance stack analysis. Experience with MS Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
