Pharmacy Trainee

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES

• Assistthe Pharmacist in dispensing drugs according to a prescriptionissued by the doctor. In case the prescribed medicines are notavailable arrange the same from the inhouse pharmacies for thehonor of 100% prescription. Substitution of medicines is to beconsulted with the doctor
• Cross check theissuing medicines with the bill concerning patient name items namequantity expiry and acknowledge thebill
• Checking out the availability of stock inthe pharmacy and based on the availability of stockraising theindent for thestock

• To counsel thepatients /customers on health the reaction ofmedicines
• To maintain good relations withcustomers/doctors To maintain the free home delivery register andfollowup the medicines deliveries to the customers intime
• Handle all the inbound calls primarilyfocusing on drug information patient counseling/education and freehome delivery orders. Also handle patient queries and issuesconcerning drug therapy and druginformation
• Handle cash in billing counter asand when required

• Storing thedrugs under proper conditions of refrigeration andsecurity
• To prepare bills in computer andcollect the cash
• Check quantity MRP batchnumber and date of expiry of the received items from stores beforeentering into computer Inventory Management &Sales
• To enter stocks in computer and take theprintout of receipt from stores (RS) for crosschecking with itemsissues list from stores based on the stock availability Ifnecessary importing/exporting the stock from nearby pharmaciesthrough BT (Branch Transfers)
• If a stock is notavailable at near pharmacies directly communicating with DC incharge and visiting the DC and collecting the necessary stock withthe period based on the emergency
• To maintainthe record for no stock items and followup thesame
• Ensure that 100% physical stock is talliedaccording to category (Tablets Syrups Injections Fluids OintmentsLiquids Capsules Powders Drops Surgical and Miscellaneous) twice aweek. Daily rack wise verification of fastmovingitems
• Ensure shift handover and takeover isgiven before leaving the work area
• Focus onsales and strive to attain the target of thepharmacy
• Perform any other job assigned by theincharge as per exigencies ofwork
