The Surveillance analyst role will develop reporting tools and review output designed to flag negative sales practice trends and other regulatory concerns. Information to be shared across Surveillance team, Supervision, and leadership throughout the firm. This person will have special access to data for delivering information in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for reviewing potential negative sales practice trends and communicating results to appropriate stakeholders.  This position is responsible for mining data from systems (data lakes), analyzing data sets, completing analytics, and building repeatable processes. This position will be responsible for assisting in Big Data initiatives related to the data lakes, analytics, and designing business intelligence reporting through Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tools for corporate and field users. This role will work with business partners on defining requirements and drive execution of business needs. The position will provide ad hoc data analytic support to various groups. 


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (financial services experience preferred) 8-10 years of relevant experience Proven experience developing within data visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI Experience with AWS infrastructure with experience on and knowledge of tools like SageMaker and Athena Python programming, SQL and data manipulation skills preferred. Strong quantitative/analytical/programming and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to think independently and recognize patterns and trends with little direction.

Degree in Computer Science
