The Team

Work you’ll do

The candidate will be part of the TTRO team responsible for supporting the replay functions for Trade and Transaction reporting. These duties incorporate daily controls around replays, MI and exception management processes. Liaison within TTRO, Compliance, Technology, Global Markets Operations and the business.

Key Accountabilities

Trade Replay management Replay control activities including: Data Reconciliation, initial break investigation, exception management, query monitoring and resolution Fostering excellent working relationship with internal counterparts (extended teams in other Global Locations, IT, Desk, Sales team, Trade Support, Confirmations, Legal, Finance). Challenge processes in accordance with the Lean methodology in order to achieve more effective processes and efficiency saves to the firm. Work in collaboration with the global TTRO teams to achieve and surpass business expectations. Ensure the team collaborates with their global colleagues in order to remove regional silos

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

Drive and influence outcomes multiple stakeholders across different business units Be a self-starter in identifying issues, and driving outcomes with stakeholders Track actions from various projects and meetings

Decision-making and Problem Solving

Strong analytical skills required to perform complex analysis on large data sets to identify the root cause when issues are encountered. Ensure root causes are well understood and work collaboratively to aid solution identification.

Risk and Control Objective

Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards. Understanding of risk in the context of regulatory reporting, how to assess it and how we might implement preventative (preferred) or detective controls to mitigate the risk.

Person Specification

Good grasp of Trade & Transaction Reporting, aptitude and desire to learn associated regulations, including understanding of Exchange Traded and Over-the-Counter Derivatives and the various Trade Lifecycles including clearing, compressions. Excellent understanding of front to back system architecture and E2E processes and controls. Desire to challenge and to support continuous improvement, rather than accepting the status quo.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications

Excellent analytical skills, exposure to data mining and articulating the problem statement. Experience of data analytical / data mining tools Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, including and not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Ability to network and build rapport and credibility quickly with a variety of key stakeholders (FO, Ops Senior Management, IT). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complicated issues to senior management and other impacted areas and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications

Self-Starter, confident and proactive, not afraid to take on tasks that they may have had no prior exposure to. Advanced excel knowledge (v-lookups, pivot tables & moderately complex formulae). Desire to own issues and be accountable through to delivery. Time Management and deadline –focus. Understanding of EMEA Regulations, particularly of working experience within MiFID, is a preferable skill set. Challenge processes in accordance with the Lean methodology in order to achieve more effective processes and efficiency saves to the firm. Exposure to robotics/automation would be desirable. Work in collaboration with the global TTRO teams to achieve and surpass business expectations. Ensure the team collaborates with their global colleagues in order to remove regional silos to build an effective cross regulation control framework.
