Key Roles and Responsibilities

SAP S/ HANA Implementation

Understand AS-IS process of Source to Settle. Document the flow of information, material and fund. (SAP and Non SAP based process) Understand the existing SAP controls, existing SAP based automations and devise strategy to configure similar process controls / additional process controls in SAP S/ HANA Share the SAP best practices which are not implemented in SAP ECC Participate in business blueprinting workflow with cross-functional team Jointly review the proposed TO-BE process and highlight the concerns Ensure Piramal and GBSS policies are embedded in the proposed TO-BE workflows List down several business scenarios which needs to be configured in SAP S/ HANA and tested Participate in End user unit testing (UAT) and Cross functional integrated testing Timely and accurately document the functional testing outcome and work with SAP Implementation team to get the observations closed Weekly report to functional leaders and GBSs head on milestones achieved, challenges on hand, possible solutions and support required Prepare detailed training documents for end user and GBSS end users of SAP S/ HANA Provide trainings on SAP S/ HANA to GBSS Procurement team members Work with GBSS Procurement team to re-establish the connections with vendor portal post SAP ECC to SAP S/ HANA migration Provide L and L level support GBSS Procurement team members on operational issues related to SAP S/ HANA Develop Subject Matter Experts within GBSS Procurement team members for SAP S/ HANA Periodic checks on whether the designed process and various controls are working in SAP S/ HANA Develop the list of Improvements planned in SAP S/ HANA Provide detailed requirement of several automations, SAP controls that needs to be brought into the SAP S/ HANA Timely closure of the SAP S/ HANA implementation for SAP S HANA Generate procurement related MIS to report agreed SLAs and health of the procurement function. Conduct the descriptive and prescriptive analysis of report to find out the root causes and propose/implement actions to improve the process Represent GBSS Purchase during Internal Audit and system audit process. Improve CEI (Control Effectiveness Index) by addressing control gaps in the process. Review the existing process controls and establish new the process controls in procurement. and MDM area
