The position
As an Advance System Manager for SAP PO-CPI at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Prepare, provide, and develop the services agreed in the SLA, ensuring the expectations of Line of Business (LoB), customers, and users are met.
  • Act as a single point of contact, liaison, and escalation for all system and service-related matters.
  • Ensure existing services meet their targets and new services meet timescales, identifying new service requirements and participating in system strategy management work.
  • Manage the system budget, including software license management and corrective actions, to ensure compliance with relevant internal and external requirements.
  • Prioritize RFCs in cooperation with the change & release manager and appoint validation responsible/test coordinator.
  • Represent the system in connection with audits and inspections, evaluating and documenting the criticality of system components and interfaces. Contract services from vendors and platform owners as needed, coordinating their day-to-day operations.

 

Qualification
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience within IT, 7+ years of experience with service management, service delivery and/or operational vendor management or within operation and maintenance of IT systems. Service management experience in cloud solution will be preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure and technologies from large corporations.
  • 3+ years of experience within the Pharma Industry, combined with general business understanding. Knowledge of and experience with working under quality requirements such as GCP (google cloud platform) and ISO.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL framework. ITIL Certification is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise architecture concepts, standards, and best practices
  • Project management and Agile skills.
  • Hands on experience on tools like Service Now, Infrastructure components and knowledge about underlying technologies e.g., Firewall, 2-factor-identification, AD Server, integration technologies, Network and security related aspects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate and achieve results in an international IT operation.
  • Large degree of flexibility and the ability to work under strong time pressure.
  • Demonstrate an exceptional ability to work with stakeholders at the highest organizational level.
  • Must have excellent communication skills. It shall be expected of you to be highly self-motivated to work independently, within delegated authority, with minimal or no supervision. 

 
About the Department

Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) is a team of 1000+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT GBS India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. SAP Development & Integration CoE department is an integral part of the DD&IT GBS and is responsible for managing development, support and maintenance of SAP platforms, Mulesoft, Kafka, etc., for all Regions in Novo Nordisk.
