The Role

NetSuite SuitePeople Product Managers are part of a world-wide team pursuing innovative ways of delivering user-centered solutions that provide real value to our customer base. We balance competing product demands to make investment decisions between new features, product enhancements, and sustainability initiatives. We are highly motivated professionals responsible for managing the product lifecycle of cloud business applications and infrastructure created for small to medium-sized businesses.

As the Product Manager, you will work closely with product management leadership, business stakeholders, customers, and the development team to drive the design and development of our US Payroll solution with a focus on legislative compliance.

This role is for someone who wants to be responsible for gathering and prioritizing feature requirements and working with a development team to deliver high-quality products in an Agile environment. We'd like you to be a self-starter who loves to engage with customers to identify problems and collaborate with team members to find the best solutions. 

Responsibilities

Your work will include collaborating with product management leadership, technical teams, and other stakeholders to enhance and maintain our US Payroll  product.

Monitor third party integrations for compliance updates and quality assurance. Research and interpret legislative updates to determine their impact on our payroll software product. Synthesize complicated legislative compliance issues to deliver concise product requirements for development teams. Define business requirements and user scenarios based on customer input, research, compliance requirements, and product strategy. Conduct training sessions for internal teams and clients to ensure understanding and utilization of compliance features. Collaborate with product management leadership to create roadmaps. Clear definition and prioritization of high-level business requirements, as well as detailed user stories. Responsible for solution reviews and acceptance testing. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the team’s feature backlog, designs and implementation is aligned with product roadmaps and strategy. Ensure feature releases are planned, documented, and shared as appropriate.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with an understanding of Business or equivalent work experience. 5+ years in HR/Payroll Technology industry 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment. Required Experience:  US Payroll & Compliance Previous experience with Payroll systems 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager Currently holds FPC or CCP certification or is willing to pursue within two years of hire. Desired Experience: Knowledge of Benefits, Time, and HR is also beneficial. Previous experience interacting with customers, requirements gathering and analysis. Unfazed by ambiguity and demonstrate a resilience in adopting change. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Demonstrates the ability to collaborate with groups of subject matter experts (SME’s) to build strong relationships.
