Our R&D division is growingglobally and we are looking for experienced Power Electronics andMechanical Lab Incharge to oversee our laboratory operations andmanage the development testing to join our Power Electronicslaboratory team at the new R&D site in BangaloreIndia.

What will you bedoing

  • Manage daytodayoperations of the power electronics and mechanicallaboratory.
  • Plan coordinate and oversee testingactivities for Power Electronics and Mechanical components andsystems.
  • Ensuring the laboratory is a safe andeffective place to work and that the test equipment iswellmaintained and properly used.
  • Lead a teamof technicians in conducting experiments electronics boardsassemblies and troubleshooting issues.
  • Beingresponsible for organising and maintaining our lab infrastructurecarrying out onsite repairs where possible and otherwise liaisingwith equipment suppliers.
  • Ensuring laboratoryconsumables are well stocked; and equipment is procured toanticipate user demands.
  • Organizing ESD andSafety trainings for all lab users.
  • Providetechnical guidance and mentorship to junior staffmembers.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratoryequipment including oscilloscopes power analyzers functiongenerators and other specializedequipment.
  • Manage parts Inventory andprocurement processes ensuring adequate supplies for testing andresearch activities.
  • Perform SMT solder reworkof low to highcomplexity highdensity PCBAs. If more complex reworkis required schedule and manage outside vendors to completerework.
  • Support hardware verification byexecuting documented test plans with the use of typical electroniclab equipment (oscilloscopes voltage meters power supplieselectronic loads and PC commandlines)

Requirements :

  • ITI or Diploma certificatesin Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics or a related field Bachelor sdegree is preferred.
  • 15 Years of Priorexperience in operating and maintaining electronic and mechanicalequipment in a research & development (R&D)environment.
  • Knowledge of the requirements of awellrun modern laboratory
  • Professional workexperience as a lab manager.
  • Inventory controland other lab management skills.
  • Stronginterpersonal skills for effective supervision of lab users andadvocating best practices.
  • Excellentorganizational skills and attention todetail.
  • Strong clear communication andexcellent timemanagement
