Responsibilities:
  • Developand maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS Online ArcGIS Pro andArcGISExplorer.
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and translatethem into technicalsolutions.
  • Customizeand extend the functionality of ArcGIS Online through web appdevelopment scripting and integration with othersystems.
  • Designand implement geoprocessing tools and workflows in ArcGIS Pro toautomate spatial analysistasks.
  • UtilizeArcGIS Explorer to create immersive 3D visualizations and maps fordata exploration andanalysis.
  • Performtroubleshooting and debugging of GIS applications to ensure optimalperformance andreliability.
  • Stayupdated with the latest advancements in ArcGIS technologies andrecommend best practices forimplementation.
  • Providetechnical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders onGISrelatedprojects.
  • Documentcode processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing andmaintain projectdocumentation.
  • Collaboratewith the GIS community and participate in forums conferences anduser groups to exchange knowledge andideas.


Requirements
  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Geographic Information Systems (GIS) orrelated field.
  • Provenexperience in developing GIS applications using ArcGIS OnlineArcGIS Pro and ArcGISExplorer.
  • Proficiencyin programming languages such as Python JavaScript or C# for GISdevelopment.
  • Strongunderstanding of geospatial concepts spatial analysis andcartographicprinciples.
  • Experiencewith web development frameworks (e.g. Angular React) and APIs forbuilding interactive webmaps.
  • Familiaritywith databases and spatial data formats (e.g. Esri File GeodatabaseGeoJSONShapefile).
  • Excellentproblemsolving skills and ability to work effectively in acollaborative teamenvironment.
  • Effectivecommunication skills with the ability to convey complex technicalconcepts to nontechnicalstakeholders.
  • Experiencewith version control systems (e.g. Git) and agile developmentmethodologies is aplus.
  • Esricertification (e.g. ArcGIS Desktop Entry ArcGIS DeveloperAssociate) is desirable but notrequired.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographic InformationSystems (GIS), or related field. Proven experience in developingGIS applications using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGISExplorer.
