Position Overview: The Communication Intern will work closely with WRI India’s Climate communications team and other team members. The role entails role involves writing engaging and creative content for our social media platforms, editing and proofreading, maintaining mailing lists and trackers, and providing general administrative support to the communications team. How your day will unfold: Provide writing, editing, and proofreading support to all communication materials. Develop content for our social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube) Create communication collaterals to facilitate the execution of offline and online events. Create and manage a program-specific calendar and ensure timely dissemination of all communication materials as per program schedule. Perform quality control checks on all content. Simplify complex ideas, including creating visualizations for easy interpretation of the data for different audiences. Communicate and coordinate with partners and other stakeholders and liaising with relevant organizations/ platforms/ initiatives to further project goals. Coordinate with local vendors for executing events in different cities as per project requirements. Ensure that our branding and style guides are adhered to in all outreach materials.  Qualifications & Requirements we seek: Excellent writing and editing skills in English. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. An understanding of photo/video editing software (such as Canva) would be considered a plus. Ability to build and maintain productive relationships internally and externally. Capability to communicate complex ideas in everyday language. Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks at the same time. Enthusiasm, flexibility, and willingness to learn. Stipend: 25,000 per month Location: Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore Duration: 3 Months
