Description of role and key responsibilities  
Credit Portfolio Analytics 


• Assist Senior Credit Analysts to prepare, format and write portfolio reviews across financial institutions portfolio.
• Analyse and complete key risk indicators as part of the annual review process including Business and Asset Diversification, Company Profile, Risk Appetite, Asset Quality, Profitability, Capitalisation and Funding & Liquidity
• Complete high level analysis on operating environment within jurisdictions relevant to Financial Institution portfolio.
• Prepare comparison tables to be presented at Exec Committee for relevant banks within jurisdictions
• Liaise with Credit Management Reporting team in terms of credit limits and exposures.
• Liaise with Doc Management to ensure accurate information regarding relevant legal documentation (ISDA/CSA/GMRA/GMSLA etc)
• Use initiative to research and develop further analytical approaches.
• Assist Senior Analysts prepare summaries and updates for credit reporting.


Core Skills and Knowledge
Technical knowledge:
• Basic knowledge/familiarity with financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and conduct a deep level of research and analysis.
• Good numerical, written and verbal reasoning skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good IT skills, in particular Excel.

Any other attributes that would be helpful, but not essential for the role .
• Knowledge of credit analysis techniques.
• Understanding of IT systems and processes.
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg and/or other financial research and portfolio management tools.
