ROLE : Development Engineer Bionic Optimization and Retopology

RESPONSIBILITY :

•As part of the BIONICAST Team ,on the bionic optimization of vehicle structures, you will work closely with simulation experts from various disciplines. As part of your task, you will be required to independently coordinate with the experts involved and, together with those responsible for the components, ensure that the geometry can be produced and approved•Evaluation and interpretation of the results ,derivation of constructive solution proposals for the further development of component geometries, manufacturing technologies and materials for component optimization•Support of the optimization process development by adapting the interfaces, applying Bionicast process and developing individual methods and software modules•Close cooperation with other research and development departments, series design and calculation, production and materials technology•Ensuring the efficient transfer of the optimization results into the series design of the components•

REQUIREMENT:

•Domain knowledge of Body in white, Chassis, Casting, Forging, joining elements, manufacturing, tolerance & assembly processes •Daimler methodology, systems and processes know how is an advantage•Knowledge and experience of constructing parts in Siemens NX & PLM systems.•Knowledge to FEA tools – ANSA, Hypermesh, Optistruct•CAD Tools and Systems – Siemens-NX, SMARAGD•Others- Zbrush, BlenderQualifikationen
