Morrison Hershfield’s Integrated Engineering Design (IED) group provides integrated engineering solutions to institutional, industrial, residential and commercial clients with a focus on transit, telecom, waste management, higher education and food/beverage facilities that require reliable and cost effective infrastructure for both new and retrofit solutions. The combined skills of our engineers, technicians and support personnel with their diverse backgrounds in design and construction provide clients with a team recognized as leaders in the field.

Location : Visakhapatnam

Responsibilities:

Functions under the oversight and supervision of a Senior Engineer / Lead DesignerProduction of electrical, and fire alarm drawings and specifications for multiple critical facilities projects using Revit MEP softwareCoordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs through a BIM 360 processEnsure that drawings are checked, approved, and filed in accordance with company quality system

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering2-5 years of experience in Revit drafting and design within the Consulting / Architectural-Engineering EnvironmentProficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEPProficiency in Revit including Clash Detection/ResolutionExposure to Building Systems Design: Equipment, Ductwork, Piping, Fire Protection, etc. (for Mechanical) / Lighting, Power Distribution, Fire Alarm, etc. (for Electrical)Ability to Draft Mechanical and Electrical Building SystemsOther Non-Technical Attributes as is standard for our India OperationsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applicationsProficiency in Spoken and Written English languageAbility to be detailed oriented, function in a multi-task environment, follow complex instructions, and meet fast paced deadlinesProven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environmentAbility to work overtime as required to meet client deadlines
