Job Summary:

The Software Development Engineer role at Clearwater Analytics spans a spectrum of responsibilities with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing software systems. The role requires continuous learning and application of new technologies and trends. Engineers at entry-level work on coding, debugging, and learning new software technologies. With progression in this track, the responsibilities expand to include leading teams, designing complex software systems, providing mentorship, and managing cross-functional integration. The more senior roles are responsible for defining the company's technological vision, making strategic decisions, driving innovation, and setting new industry standards. Across all levels, a successful software development engineer will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, excellent coding abilities, a keen understanding of the software ecosystem, and a cooperative team player attitude.

Responsibilities:

Supporting investment institutions on Risk and Performance investment analytics applications using by some of the world's largest technology firms, asset managers, and custodian banks. Working with Salesforce.com, JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence on Case management, Problem management, Project management and Documentation. Managing of Azure Platform (AVD, Networking, Active Directory, AD DS, VMS, PowerShell, DevOps, and Security). Managing Windows Server Infrastructure and Clearwater Risk and Performance Products. Managing automated secure data exchange, application workflows and projects. Creating and maintaining applications mis/installers. Supporting Azure PowerBI App publishing and workflows. Maintaining SQL Servers basic functions. Being available after hours as needed and on weekend rotation.

Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal English communications skills. Striving for excellence. Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities A quick learner and team player. Attention to details. Understanding, responding to, and addressing customer issues with empathy and in a timely manner. 2-5 years combined experiences in managing and supporting Azure Platform, Windows Server environment and Products. Experiences with PowerShell, Azure, AD DS, and Windows Server. Experience in monitoring production systems. Experience working with Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Desired Experiences and Skills:

Knowledge of one of these SQL platforms: PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and IBM DB2. Salesforce.com JIRA and Confluence. DevOps concepts. Azure PowerBI. Ipswich Move IT SFTP and Orchestrator.
