JobDescription:

We are seeking a skilledand dedicated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. TheSRE will be responsible for ensuring the reliability performanceand scalability of our systems and applications. This role combinessoftware development and systems engineering to build and runlargescale distributed faulttolerantsystems.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • InfrastructureManagement: Design build and maintain the infrastructure requiredto support a highvolume highavailabilityenvironment.
  • Monitoringand Incident Response: Develop and implement monitoring strategiesto detect and resolve system issues before they impact users.Participate in oncall rotation to manage and mitigateincidents.
  • Automation:Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability ofthe system. Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure smoothdeployments.
  • PerformanceTuning: Analyze and optimize system performance includingtroubleshooting latency issues and enhancing systemthroughput.
  • CapacityPlanning: Forecast system capacity and plan for future scalingneeds. Ensure systems are resilient to handle increasedloads.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with software engineers QA product managers and otherstakeholders to ensure the delivery of reliable and performantservices.
  • Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation of system architectureprocesses andprocedures.



QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor sdegree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (orequivalent practicalexperience).
  • Minimum3 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer DevOps orsimilarrole.
  • Experiencewith cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and container orchestration(KubernetesDocker).
  • Proficientin scripting and automation using languages like Python Bash orRuby.
  • Strongunderstanding of networking security and systemadministration.

SKILLS:


  • Familiaritywith configuration management tools (Ansible ChefPuppet).
  • Experiencewith monitoring tools (Prometheus GrafanaNagios).
  • Stronganalytical and problemsolvingskills.
  • Excellentcommunication and collaborationskills.
  • Experiencewith database management (SQLNoSQL).
  • Knowledgeof Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform orPulumi.
  • Familiaritywith Agile/Scrummethodologies.
  • Certificationin relevant technologies (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is aplus.
