Requirements

RequiredQualifications:

TechnicalSkills:

  • At least8 years of professionalexperience.
  • Proficient in developingmicroservices and cloudnative applications using Java/J2EE RESTAPIs Spring Core Spring MVC Framework Spring Boot Framework JPA(Java Persistence API) or any other ORM Spring Security and similartech stacks (both open source andproprietary).
  • Experienced with unittesting frameworks such as JUnit Mockito andJBehave.
  • Skilled in building anddeploying services using tools like Gradle Maven Jenkins etc. aspart of the CI/CD process.
  • Handsonexperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential foroffshore roles. For onshore roles GCP knowledge is preferred butproficiency in any cloud platform ismandatory.
  • Knowledgeable in workingwith relational databases like Oracle PostgreSQLetc.

SoftSkills:

  • Capableof designing developing and implementing custom software anddatabase applications with minimalsupervision.
  • Excellent communicationskills particularly in designrelated discussions and ability tobuild and maintain strong relationships and foster a collaborativeenvironment.
  • Demonstrates ateamoriented mindset supporting colleagues and working with a"do what it takes" attitude to ensure project andteamsuccess.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratewith a team of engineers to develop elegant and highperformancecode.
  • Adhere to quality practicesincluding unit testing and codereviews.
  • Optimize applications fornonfunctionalrequirements.
  • Participate in thebuild and deployment of components as part of the CI/CDprocess.
  • Take responsibility forendtoend application delivery including coordination with requiredteams for productiondeployment.
  • Continuously monitorapplication health and key performance indicators (KPIs) andsupport the triage of any production issues asneeded.
  • Work on troubleshootingcomplex data features services and platform issues and perform rootcause analysis to proactively resolve product and operationalproblems.
  • Advocate for and upholdsecurity best practices within the engineering team championing theimportance of security in all aspects ofdevelopment.
