The team

Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help unlock growth, stability, and sustainability by enabling them to spot unseen business trends through curation, transformation, and blending of data. In our endeavors for continued expansion, we’re searching for like-minded individuals to help us ‘take it to the next level’.

You will also be required to participate in stakeholder management, highlight risks, propose deliver plans and estimate for time and team size based on requirements. Hence, adequate levels of communication skills and relevant experience in handling such situations is desired. 

Your work profile

As a Manager in our Cloud Engineering Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

Your main responsibilities will be:

The Pre-Sales Lead plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by leading the pre-sales process, engaging with potential clients, and providing technical expertise and solutions to meet customer needs. This position requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Sales Strategy Development:

- Develop and implement pre-sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor pre-sales

activities accordingly.

2. Technical Expertise and Solutions:

- Serve as a subject matter expert on the company's products or services, understanding their

technical capabilities and benefits.

- Provide technical consultations and solutions to potential clients, addressing their business

challenges and objectives.

3. Proposal and Presentation Development:

- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to potential

clients, showcasing the value proposition of our solutions.

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create sales collateral and materials that

effectively communicate product features and benefits.

4. Relationship Building:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs

and objectives.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance and recommendations on how our solutions

can address their challenges and deliver value.

5. Sales Support and Enablement:

- Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle, providing technical expertise, product

knowledge, and assistance as needed.

- Conduct product training sessions for sales team members to enhance their understanding of our

offerings and improve their ability to position them effectively.

6. Market and Competitive Analysis:

- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify

opportunities and threats.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform product development

and sales strategies.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer

success, to ensure alignment on customer needs and deliverables.

- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, facilitating communication and

knowledge sharing.

Desired qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role

- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of relevant technologies and solutions.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of achieving sales targets.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes.

- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.

- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support sales activities.
