JOB DESCRIPTION Sr.Cloud Engineer

Role: Senior CloudEngineer

Location:Coimbatore

Experience : 6years

Roles andResponsibilities:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams todesign and architect cloud solutions that align with businessobjectives.

Develophighlevel cloud architecture and migrationstrategies.

Deployconfigure and manage AWS and Azure resources including virtualmachines containers and serverlesscomponents.

Implementinfrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform or AWSCloudFormation.

Ensurecloud environments are secure compliant and follow best practicesfor identity and access management (IAM) encryption and networksecurity.

Implementsecurity policies and perform regular audits to identifyvulnerabilities.

Automate routine tasks and workflows usingscripting languages like Python orPowerShell.

Create andmanage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration anddeployment.

Set upmonitoring alerting and logging solutions to proactively identifyand resolve performance bottlenecks andissues.

Optimize cloudresources for costefficiency while maintaining highavailability.

Designand implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensuredata integrity and business continuity.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsproviding technical guidance and support.

Document cloud architectures configurationsand processes for knowledge sharing andreference.

Providetechnical support and troubleshoot cloudrelated issues as theyarise.

Participate inoncall rotations if necessary.

Requirement:

Minimum of 6 years of professional experienceas a Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on cloud platforms (AWS andAzure).

Relevant cloudcertifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect AzureSolutions Architect) are a plus.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IAC)tools and automation (Terraform AWS CloudFormation Ansibleetc.).

Experience withcontainerization technologies such as Docker and orchestrationplatforms like Kubernetes.

Strong knowledge of cloud security bestpractices and compliance standards.

Expertise in cloud monitoring performanceoptimization and cost management.

Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g.Python PowerShell).

Excellent problemsolving and troubleshootingabilities.

Effectivecommunication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.

A proactive andselfmotivated approach to learning and staying uptodate withemerging cloud technologies.


PreferredQualification:

Bachelor's degree in computer scienceinformation technology or related field (Master's degreepreferred).

Provenexperience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on AWS andAzure.

AWS CertifiedSolutions Architect and/or Azure Solutions Architect certificationspreferred.

Strongknowledge of cloud services including compute storage networkingand databases.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IAC)tools and automation.

Familiarity with containerization technologies(e.g. Docker Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of security best practicesin cloud environments.

Experience with cloud monitoring andperformance optimization.

Excellent problemsolving skills and attentionto detail.

Strongcommunication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.

Continuouslearning mindset to stay updated with cloud technologyadvancements
