We are looking for a talented Automated Test Engineer to join our dynamic and growing Public Safety R&D engineering team in Pune.

How will you make an impact?

Experience with manual testing as well as test automationAutomation testing using .net & automation testing suite like Selenium and PlaywrightStrong in DB testing & SQLManual testing – test case developmentWorking closely with your team you will safeguard the quality of all aspects of the team’s deliveries.Execute Risk Assessments and derive effective test coverage following ISTQB guidelinesCreate effective functional and non-functional test cases based on the risk assessment and take ownership of all aspects required for their execution such asBuilding a representative test environmentCompiling and managing effective test data for all scoped testsUpdate impacted regression tests and select the right set for executionCreate new automated testcase both within an existing framework and newly built solutions and take ownership for the execution and maintenance of the same.Troubleshoot and identify complex issues and take ownership for ensuring their resolution

Have you got what it takes?

Have significant experience of automating testing.Have practical knowledge of C#, Web API testing, Mocking, Selenium, SpecFlow/Gherkin. Experience in preparing Test Plans/Test Strategies/Reports.Experience in front-end UI testing, ensuring seamless user experience and interface functionality across various browsers and devicesDatabase skills with hands-on experience in SQL.Experience with defect management and tracking tools preferrable azure boardExperience with installing software builds/ConfigurationExperience in code check in and branching using version control systems preferably Git Tech stack – Azure DevOps test management, .Net C#, Selenium, Playwright, Wire mock, SpecFlow/Gherkin.Experience working with Agile/SCRUM/Agile SAFe software development methodology Technologies Should have strong experience on .Net, and C#.Should have familiarity with Accessibility Testing tools.Should have strong experience on browser compatibility testing.Familiarity with Postman, Build Pipelines (Team City or Azure Pipelines).Familiarity with Docker containers. Playwright Testing Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end testing scenarios using Playwright.Should have strong experience on Design Patterns to reduce the total runtime.Should have familiarity with Accessibility Compliance and include that in Testing Framework.Should have a detailed understanding on Test reusability. WireMock Should have working experience on API mocking and simulation using WireMock to facilitate isolated testing of components.Maintain and update WireMock configurations to align with evolving project requirements.Should have experience on different Distributions models of Wiremocks.Should have experience on WireMock on Docker.Should have experience on WireMock as a standalone serverShould have experience on difference use cases such as stubbing, templating, record and play, etc.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

ISTQB/ISEB qualificationsPractical experience of:AzureSQL Server and SQL administrationElasticsearch/KibanaJavaScriptGITKnowledge of Fiddler, Azure DevOps/TFS, Visual studio, JMeterExperience in Security or Performance non-functional testingDegree or equivalent qualification in relevant subject (Computer Science, Information Technology/Electronic Engineering)Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience of WCAG (assistive technologies)
