Tea Sommelier

As a Tea Sommelier at Fairmont Mumbai youwill play a crucial role in enhancing our guests dining experienceby offering expert knowledge and exceptional service related totea. You will curate and manage an extensive tea selection educateguests and staff and create memorable tea experiences that alignwith our high standards of luxury andhospitality.

KeyResponsibilities:

• TeaSelection and Curation: Develop and maintain adiverse and highquality tea menu including rare and specialty teas.Source and establish relationships with teasuppliers.

• GuestExperience: Provide personalized tea recommendationsand pairings for guests based on their preferences and diningexperiences. Conduct tea tastings and educational sessions forguests.

• StaffTraining: Train restaurant and service staff on teapreparation presentation and service standards to ensure aconsistent and highquality teaexperience.

• TeaPreparation: Oversee the correct preparation andpresentation of teas in accordance with the established standards.Ensure the tea service area is wellmaintained andorganized.

• QualityControl: Monitor and maintain the quality andfreshness of tea products. Address any issues related to teaservice and make improvements asneeded.

• Eventsand Promotions: Plan and execute tearelated eventspromotions and collaborations to enhance the visibility and appealof our teaofferings.

• GuestFeedback: Gather and analyze guest feedbackregarding tea service and make recommendations for improvementsbased on guest preferences and industrytrends.

Qualifications:

• Provenexperience as a Tea Sommelier or in a similar role within a luxuryhospitality environment.
• Extensive knowledge ofvarious tea types their origins and brewingmethods.
• Strong communication and interpersonalskills with the ability to engage and educate guestseffectively.
• Experience in staff training anddevelopment.
• Attention to detail and acommitment to delivering highqualityservice.
• Ability to work collaboratively in adynamic and fastpacedenvironment.
• Certification or formal trainingin tea sommelier programs is aplus.
