Job Description

Location- Gamharia

The Context / Purpose of the Job:

Supervising billet preparation operational activities to ensure availability of billets, to maintain product quality, & safety at shop floor. Development of billet preparation line SOPs and provide training to subordinates. Maintaining the spares and shift manpower for smooth operation.

Key Objective / Overall Job Responsibility:

1. Pre-job safety communication with shift personnel. 100% implementation of all Safety recommendations & observations compliance to avoid reoccurrence of incident.

• Monitoring of billet preparation line-shot blasting, MPI, Grinding, Sorting Table and supply to mill.
• Ensuring operation of each equipment as per parameters, quality of billet as specified, maintaining data records, monitoring consumable requirements.
• Ensuring transfer of billets from billet bay to BGM bay through transfer trolley.
• Planning of spares required according to the different lead time of spares.
• Monitoring of KPI assigned & take action in case of any adverse deviation.
• Conduct meetings for breakdown analysis to arrive at root cause.
• Processing regular bills of all contractual works in SAP.
• To co-ordinate with TSTI for employee training on a regular basis.
• Active participation in IATF internal & external audit & its compliance.
• Ensuring housekeeping and up of the plant.
• Handling shift wise materials & manpower management.
• Co-ordinate with different agencies (mechanical and electrical) in the shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Location: Gamharia, Jamshedpur
• CTC 4 - 6 lacs
• Qualification- Full time Diploma in mechanical/ production.
• 
  
• Experience- min. 3 years of Experience in Rolling Mill / SMS (Mandatory)
• Candidates willing to relocate can be consider.
