KeyResponsibilities:

  • Design and implement characterand asset rigs optimizing for both animation control andperformance.
  • Collaborate with the art team toensure proper deformation weighting and movement of assets withinUnreal Engine.
  • Work closely with animators andmodelers to ensure assets are productionready and meet performancestandards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve rigging andanimation issues maintaining high visual fidelity andconsistency.
  • Optimize animations and rigs forrealtime use in Unreal Engine ensuring efficient performance ontargetplatforms.

Requirements:

  • 3years of experience in 3D animation and rigging forgames with a portfolio that demonstrates strong skills in bothareas.
  • Proficiency inMayaBlender or similar 3D software foranimation and rigging.
  • Experience working withUnreal Engine for animation andrigging including the use of animation blueprints blend spaces andcontrol rigs.
  • Strong understanding of animationprinciples rigging techniques and realtime optimization forgames.
  • Ability to work independently in afastpaced environment and meet tightdeadlines.
  • Available to workonsite for a 1monthcontract.

PreferredSkills:

  • Experience inAAA game development or working on racing/combatgames.
  • Knowledge of motion capture and itsintegration into game animationpipelines.
  • Familiarity with advanced riggingtechniques for complex characters andvehicles.
