Position: Software Development Manager

Scope:

Software Requirements Analysis, Software Architectural Design and, Software Detailed Design and Unit Construction.

Responsibilities

Define the Software Design scope of work for the project. Evaluate the feasibility of achieving the goals of the Software Design project with available resources and constrains. Plan, monitor and adjust the Software Design project activities and outputs to reach quality, timing and cost goals according to Software Design processes during Software Design lifecycle. Manage and prioritize Software Design activities and goals according to management directives and report relevant information to the team members. Plan resources needed in Software Design activities, escalate them and report risks/efforts to the Software Design Supervisor and the Electronic Project Manager. Give support to Electronic Project Manager to communicate closely to the costumer and report timings, risks and efforts if required. Assure proper coordination when the activities involve other teams in the development of the product. Monitor and report the progress of the project to Software Design Supervisor, Electronic Project Manager and Quality Assurance Leader. Estimate Product Change Requests from customer and Software Design requirements analysis and technical review preparation. Enforce the execution of the applicable processes and procedures, and the usage of standard tools. Manage Software Design project risks. Ensure team members have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience for the development of the projects. Identify possible lack of skills, knowledge and/or experience and, if necessary, request to the Software Design supervisor a training plan accordingly. Software Detailed Design and Unit Construction. Establish SWAD Activity ( Software Detailed Design Activity).

Skills Required:

- Understanding the Software Development Process.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering.

-Knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, and Python, as well as embedded software development, real-time operating systems, and automotive communication protocols

- Certification through ASPICE, or Automotive Software Process Improvement Capability Determination, is a way to ensure product quality and safety.
