CNC VMC Programmer

Overview:The CNC VMCProgrammer plays a crucial role in our organization by programmingand operating vertical machining centers to produce highprecisionparts and components. They are responsible for creating andfinetuning CNC programs setting up the VMC machines and ensuringthat production runs smoothly andefficiently.KeyResponsibilities:

• Develop andoptimize CNC programs using CAD/CAMsoftware.
• Set up and operate vertical machiningcenters to produce parts.
• Perform qualitychecks on machined parts using precision measuringtools.
• Collaborate with engineers andproduction teams to ensure accurate productionruns.
• Monitor machine performance and makeadjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean andorganized work area to ensure safety andefficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machiningissues to minimize downtime.
• Implement andadhere to strict quality and safetystandards.
• Provide training and guidance tomachine operators as needed.
• Collaborate withthe maintenance team to perform routine equipmentmaintenance.
• Assist in the development of newmachining processes and techniques.
• Keepaccurate production and maintenancerecords.
• Adhere to company policies andprocedures at all times.

RequiredQualifications:

• High school diplomaor equivalent; technical certification is aplus.
• Proven experience as a CNC VMC programmeror similar role.
• Indepth knowledge of CNCprogramming and Gcode.
• Proficiency in operatingand setting up VMC machines.
• Ability to readand interpret engineering drawings andblueprints.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM softwaresuch as Mastercam or similar programs.
• Strongunderstanding of machining principles andpractices.
• Excellent problemsolving skills andattention to detail.
• Ability to workcollaboratively in a team environment.
• Goodcommunication and interpersonalabilities.
