JobOverview: The Hotel Receptionist is the first point ofcontact for guests and plays a pivotal role in ensuring anexceptional guest experience. The Receptionist is responsible forgreeting and registering guests managing reservations providinginformation about the hotels services and addressing any guestinquiries or concerns. The goal is to provide outstandinghospitality and service to create a memorable stay for ourguests.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. GuestReception:

    • Greetguests upon arrival confirm reservations assign rooms and issueroom keys.
    • Process payments foraccommodation and services.
    • Provideinformation about hotel services facilities and nearbyattractions.
  2. Communication:

    • Answerphones take messages and handle guest mail anddeliveries.
    • Communicate guestfeedback to relevant departments to enhance servicedelivery.
    • Coordinate withhousekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure room readiness andattend to guest needs orissues.
  3. AdministrativeDuties:

    • Maintainaccurate records of guest accounts andtransactions.
    • Handle checkins andcheckouts efficiently.
    • Prepare andpresent daily reports on occupancy rates andrevenues.
  4. ProblemSolving:

    • Addressand resolve guest complaints and issuespromptly.
    • Provide support andguidance to guests in case ofemergencies.


Requirements

EssentialQualifications:

  • HighSchool Diploma or equivalent; further education in hotel managementor related field ispreferred.
  • Provenexperience as a Receptionist Front Office Representative or similarrole in the hospitalityindustry.
  • Familiaritywith hospitality industry standards andprotocols.

Essential Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma orequivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or related field is aplus. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the audiovisualequipment industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in using billing and inventory management systems.Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy. Ability to work ina fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Sales-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
