Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Test Engineer with expertise in automotive electronic components, including Telematics, Engine Control Units (ECUs), ABS, Body electronics, Infotainment and EV components . This role encompasses both series production testing and New Product Introduction (NPI) topics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, troubleshooting second-level breakdowns, driving continuous improvements, and supporting Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and control plan development. Experience with In-Circuit Testing (ICT) and collaboration with product development engineers is crucial. The candidate must also be open to international assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and validation of automotive electronic components (Telematics, ECUs, ABS, Body Electronics) in series production.
- Serve as a technical resource for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, collaborating with product development engineers to ensure smooth integration into production.
- Perform In-Circuit Testing (ICT) to validate electronic assemblies and components, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve second-level breakdowns in production testing, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid issue resolution.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement activities in day-to-day testing processes, optimizing performance and efficiency.
- Develop and update FMEA and control plans to ensure consistent product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development engineers, to address potential failure modes and implement corrective actions.
- Design and execute test procedures using National Instruments LabVIEW, Bosch CCS Test Systems, and other relevant test platforms.
- Ensure compliance with testing protocols and data analysis using communication interfaces such as CAN, LIN, GPIB, USB, and Ethernet.
- Perform electronic hardware circuit analysis, diagnostics, and debugging.
- Utilize embedded systems expertise and proficiency in programming languages like C and C++ to develop and maintain automated test systems.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations and provide support for automated test equipment (ATE).
- Be willing to take on international assignments to support global projects and collaborations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of automotive electronics and related components.
- Proficiency in SPEA In-Circuit Testing (ICT) and National Instruments LabVIEW and Test stand.
- Hands-on experience with Bosch CCS Test Systems with Linux operating system environments.
- Solid knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, GPIB, USB, and Ethernet.
- Hands-on experience in electronic hardware circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Expertise in embedded systems and programming languages, including C and C++.
- Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and test stand operations.
- Familiarity with FMEA, control plans, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside product development engineers.
- Willingness to take on international travels On project requirements

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with automotive industry standards and testing requirements.

Qualifications
Full time Engineering Degree with Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical or Electronics or instrumentation engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
