· Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in performance of daily activities.

· Perform routine audits of hardware and software to ensure compliance with laws, policies, standards, and procedures. Participate and Represent IT in Internal / External ISO Audits.

· Monitor & Manage hardware, software and operating system updates, patches and configuration changes.

· Monitor & Manage server room devices including High Performance Computing (HPC) environment.

· Provide technical and application support to the Engineering Team, as it relates to our Engineering and PLM software applications.

· Support, configure and troubleshoot the CAD and simulation software applications in use at Tower Automotive (i.e. CATIA, UG, Ideas, Hyper works, Auto Form, AutoCAD, etc.).

· Ensure the security and safeguarding of our corporate and customer’s data and networks.

· Maintain standard detailed logs and ticket systems to resolve and/ or track progress and resolution of problems in area of responsibility.

· Prepares and presents proper change control plans in our enterprise change control meetings.

· May participate in I.T. budget process to gain knowledge, skills and abilities.

· Provides suggestions to leader to minimize expenditures and optimize resources utilization and deployment.

· Works on special projects as assigned by leader.

· Ensures excellent customer service levels and meets internal and external customer expectations.

· Provide 24 hours administrative support for the local application servers, including upgrades, patches, anti-virus, etc.

· Provides emergency on-call support during weekends and off-shift hours.

· Coordinate with IT Support Center with regular tasks and issue resolution

· Maintain positive working relationships with all levels of the organization.

· Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the work area.

· Assures compliance with all company local, corporate, and IT policies, procedures, and standards

· Assures compliance with all local, country, and international laws and regulations.

Required Skills

· Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

· Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the IT support area.

· Expertise in multiple disciplines in IT infrastructure.

· Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

· Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

· Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in English

· Ability to perform mathematical calculations

· May work with international colleagues possessing limited English skills; therefore, multi-lingual capability is a plus (i.e. German, Italian, Polish etc.)

· Must be sensitive to cultural diversification.

· Additional skills which could be beneficial but definitely not required:

o Linux/Unix experience (scripting, administration, performance analysis)
