What you’ll be doing

1. Participates in the implementation of risk management procedures, performing security assessments and providing security expertise and support for the implementation of priority security programmes.
2. Supports the delivery of security and tracking key projects of security.
3. Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of security operations.
4. Supports the delivery of security execution updates for managing executive and other key stakeholders' interfaces.
5. Supports the creation of meaningful metrics to track and trend the progress of essential security services.
6. Supports leasing with business leaders to proactively identify the security impact of implementations across the BT Group.
7. Supports internal and external communications, ensuring the cadence and content of communications is appropriate, to provide exposure of the security function.
8. Supports partnering with the BT Group corporate security to build complementary services that leverage the scale and capabilities while delivering a line-of-business function.

The skills you’ll need

Technical Skills
 Scripting: Proficient in Python Scripting (Mandatory)
 Handon and Debugging experience on any Linux ( Mandatory) 
 Ansible Knowledge ( Mandatory ) 
 Database: - MySQL, Oracle.
 Revision Control System :- GIT , GITHUBS.
 Tools: - CI/ CD Pipeline / Puppet /Kafka Elastic Search / Kibana, Jenkins
 Operating System-Unix-REDHAT /Linux 
 Network environment-Virtualization
 Cloud:- AWS/ Azure
 Understanding of Network and security Environment and tools


Skills & Experience
 4-10 years of experience in Python Scripting and Programming Language along with DevOps Skill sets
 Proficient in Linux Development and Debugging skill sets.
 Experience on Network Protocol testing and any Security Management tool Development
 Awareness of Incident/Problem/Change Management 
 Stakeholder management, Risk Management & Problem solving
 Effective Communication, including verbal, report writing & presentations skills
